When working with one of our Personal Trainers, we provide Comprehensive Fitness Assessments which provides in depth information of several criteria pertaining to your physical health. Then we can use this information to help tailor a weight loss or strength building program.
We have a variety of ways to help members get the most out of their personal training. A couple of our special services beyond workouts at the gym include support reaching Sport Performance goals as well as coaching on diet and lifestyle.

For people who want to complement their personal fitness with diet and healthy lifestyle coaching we provide personalized, one-on-one support to discuss your lifestyle and options for change or improvement. I have a passion for working one-on-one with people and helping them achieve overall health and wellness by reaching their fitness goals. My inspiration for this industry came from the success of going through a weight loss journey of my own culminating in the completion of the Rock and Roll Marathon in 2008.
I love working with all fitness levels to help people develop healthy and lasting habits. I believe in setting challenging but realistic goals to institute a positive lifestyle change.
I have been in the fitness industry since 2003. I began training at 24 Hour Fitness and was the fitness manager for my last 2 years with the company. In 2009 and 2010, I was an assistant strength coach with the San Diego State University football program.
I have a passion for fitness and helping people reach their fitness goals. I specialize in strength training, flexibility, functional training, fat loss, rehab and sports specific training.
With my own personal experience of losing over 100 pounds, I found that nothing motivates me more than empowering people through physical fitness. I base my sessions on your personal goals and interests. I feel that workouts should test and improve your physical and mental abilities — and, above all, be fun and engaging.
My goal is to guide clients on how to get and stay physically and psychologically fit. I not only want to see my clients achieve their goals but look and feel their best while developing the self-confidence needed to take control of a happy, healthy lifestyle.
My name is Deena Markind, RYT-200 Yoga Instructor and ACE Certified Personal Trainer with a background in psychology, physiology, nutritional sciences, and wellness coaching. Upon completing my Bachelor’s of Science degree from The University of Arizona in 2012, I immediately certified as a personal fitness trainer and began helping clients at a local corporate gym. After completing an extensive RYT-200 hour training at CorePower Yoga, I began teaching yoga at local studios and corporations to enhance employee wellness. Classes I lead regularly include vinyasa yoga, power yoga, hatha, restorative, yoga sculpt, PiYo, Pilates, bootcamps, TRX, BOSU, and Core Fit. In formulating vitalizing fitness programs tailored to client goals for individuals ranging from competing athletes to rehabilitating adults, my personal goal as a fitness instructor is to assist you in achieving the uplifting benefits of a comprehensive workout while promoting progress towards your health and wellness goals. I creatively guide individuals in achieving the uplifting benefits of a healthier lifestyle, and support a path revealing the most fulfilling quality of life.
